Join anytime!

You can join us at any time – that’s what our “Come and Try” is all about!

We rehearse on Sundays 1-3pm (check our calendar) and contact us to let us know you’re coming and we will answer any questions you have.

Don’t worry if you think ”I have no idea what is going on!” Our advice is: Relax, enjoy the music and go with the flow.

After a few weeks, you’ll start recognising the different rhythms and know what you have to do; and after a little bit longer, you’ll feel more confident as you learn more of the calls. Usually it takes a couple of months to get there – that’s completely normal!

BEGINNERS WORKSHOPS

We run Beginners Workshops during the cooler months, look for announcements on our socials. Or you can register your interest via email and we will contact you when we are scheduling the next workshop.

PERFORMING

Once you have mastered a basic level of competence playing one instrument, you will be invited to perform with us at upcoming gigs. This may sound nerve-wracking, but it’s actually heaps of fun and like many things in life, you never forget your first one!
